Have 3 years really gone by?

Today we remember Grandma Marlyn who went to Heaven 3 years ago today. It does not seem possible that 3 years have gone by. Some days it seems like just yesterday, and some days I'm still waiting for a phone call to see how things are going, and some days the reality hits in weird ways...but most days I am so glad that she is praising our Risen Saviour each and every day. From my "head perspective" I would not want her to come back because she is right where she is supposed to be, in the presence of God. From my "heart perspective", out of pure selfishness, I want her back to meet her grandkids, to be with us, to spend Christmas and birthdays celebrating, to hear her play the piano, to give us the support, love and encouragement that only a mom can give. For me, this has been the hardest year yet without her. I am so thankful for all that she did, for the love that she gave and for the great memories that we have of her....I love you and miss you Mom. One day, we'll see you again.

Odds 'n' Ends in the Daycare

There are so many fun toys in our daycare! I love this swing and slide thing we have. I could play on it all day! It has a wheel on it that I love to turn and pretend I'm going somewhere fun. I LOVE the swing. Swinging is one of my favourite things to do. When I get to play in there, I am one happy little girl!

Fishing Time

My mommy gave me a really fun thing to do! She let me fish on our patio. I was out there for over an hour and really didn't want to come inside. I can't wait for the next sunny day so I can fish again! Too bad we're expecting snow on Sunday.

Diggers are Fun!

Last weekend my daddy was building a fence where our horse lives. He was helping our friends build another corral in the back pasture so our horses don't get fat. They get to live there part time this summer.











My daddy let me help him in the skid steer. I was kinda scared at first because it was loud, but then I really liked it! I don't think I will do that for a living though. I don't like it THAT much!
