Making Muffins

One of the things that I have discovered is that I LOVE to help my daddy and mommy. I can sweep and mop and clean windows and put the garbage away. My mommy hopes that I always like to help! We made spelt flour banana muffins this morning with my friends Preston (who was helping me stir) and Owen. My mommy figured out that I am allergic to wheat because I have been having weird symptoms and once she took the wheat away, I feel so much better. So now we make all kinds of treats with different types of flour and we use agave nectar instead of sugar. Everything is really yummy!

Stack

Whenever I want to play with the blocks I always tell Mommy, "Stack", that way she knows to come and have some fun with me! My towers are getting pretty tall these days...it's even more fun knocking them over!

July 4th at Castle Rock Park

We had so much fun on July 4th. A local church put on a free day for families. There was lots of live music, a waterpark, lots of slides and inflatable bouncy things. There was even a special area for kids 4 and under....how cool is that? After a long, hot day outside I was completely exhausted!

Face-painting on July 4th

My mommy and daddy took me to this really fun July 4th celebration at a local park. I even got my face painted by a young volunteer...it kinda got smudged tho' because I moved my head. But hey, what's a little girl to do? I sat still for as long as I could!

The Wading Pool

It was 91 degrees here today and that was TOOO hot for me. So after all the daycare kids left, my mommy and I went to the playground and then to the wading pool. It's in a place called Pioneer Park and it's FREE! Since it was supper time there weren't very many kids there to play with, but I had SOOOOO much fun. I screamed as loud as I could when my mommy told me it was time to get out. I'm pretty sure the whole park heard me, but I didn't care because I wanted to stay in there. I am really glad that my mommy told me that we can go back again because I had such a great time.

The Playground

After my mommy closed the daycare tonight we got to go to the park. I LOVE the playground and could spend hours on it. Come and visit us and I will show you the ropes...

My Fat Lip

Today was the first of many yet to come I think. I thought it would be fun to jump off the side of the couch, even after my mommy told me "No". So I did, and I landed on my face! I've got my daddy's daredevil streak in me so it didn't stop me at all. I got back up and was about to try again when my mommy grabbed me off the couch. She's no fun!! Now I've got a fat lip to show for my antics. Pretty good one I'd say!
