My 50 Cent Dress

This is my new dress that my mommy bought for me. She's a really big spender you know...she spent a whole 50 cents at the 2nd hand store called Precious Seconds! I wore it to church today and the ladies in the nursery loved it. I love it too because it's light and comfy. It even has "bloomers" to match!

Remembering my Grandma

It was 2 years ago today that my Grandma went to Heaven. I never got to meet her, but my mommy tells me she was really cool! She was an amazing woman who loved God with all her heart and loved her family unconditionally. She never complained, she was kind and compassionate. She really loved her music and that love of music was passed on to my mommy and my Auntie Marsalie. She had a great sense of humour....for instance, she really didn't like motorcycles much, but here she is in the picture on Daddy's motorbike with a big smile on her face! Now that's funny. She was such a good friend to so many people. She was an awesome mom and gave careful guidance, but was very firm in what she said and believed. She always saw the glass half full and her encouragement through cards and emails was a welcome sight for my mommy. We really miss her but we know that she is singing with the angels and that we will see her again one day. We love you Grandma!

Spring has Sprung

According to these pictures, it looks like it is spring in Montana. Well, don't be fooled! We've had a lot of snow over the last couple of weeks and then today it was 70 degrees (that's about 21 degrees Celsius for all my Canadian relatives and friends!), so there's no more snow. Don't know what's around the corner for tomorrow, but as the saying goes here, if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes! Anyway, my mommy loves these pictures so she thought she would share them with you.

Our Little Cowgirl

I'm 6 Months Old

Here I am at 6 months old. Can you believe it? I'm 28 inches long and 18 lbs 12 oz. Things sure move fast around here. Here's a list of the new things in my life:

  • I can roll over both ways and it's lots of fun to go from my tummy to my back.
  • I can sit up all on my own for quite a long time now. One thing I have figured out is that it is not a good idea to try and roll from a sitting position. It kinda hurts!
  • I am eating lots of different foods now. The two things I hate most are green beans and prunes. YUCKY!
  • I am in 9 month shirts and 12 month pants.
  • I can blow spit bubbles and "raspberries" at my dad and mom. They think it's really funny.
  • I LOVE to make lots of loud noises, like banging on counters and my high chair with spoons or my sippy cup. I also LOVE to screech really loud; now that's fun!
  • I'm cutting 2 teeth on the bottom of my mouth and it REALLY hurts. My mom sees them at the surface and then they disappear the following day. Maybe this week they will actually come through. In the mean time, I'm chewing on everything in site and drooling like crazy.

Well, I guess that about sums up some of the new stuff in my life. I'll keep you posted on any new changes though.

Splish Splash

I LOVE to swim! I went swimming for the second time with my mommy and our friend Marge and her daughter Logan. I am in daycare with Logan and my mommy works with Marge. My mommy thought it would be fun to have time in the pool at her work for me to splash around and get used to the water. It was a GREAT idea. I love to kick and splash and I "talk" a lot in the water.
I especially love to sit in my baby float and have my mom float with me around the pool. I can't wait until the next time I can go!

Happy Easter

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
-John 3:16 -

He is Risen, He is Risen indeed!

We wish you all of God's richest blessings
as we celebrate our risen Saviour.

Love to you from our family.

My Washington Family

This is my family from Spokane, Washington. My Auntie Sandy ( my daddy's youngest sister) and my cousins Marissa and Madge came to visit me (and everyone else) this past week. I missed seeing my Uncle Anthony, but I will hopefully see him sometime soon. Marissa and Madge played with me and I had so much fun! My Auntie Sandy made silly noises and tickled me and I laughed so hard! It was good to finally meet them. I can't wait to see them again soon.
