24 hours later...

We got a TON of snow in 24 hours! So much so that our 4-wheel drive Tahoe slid off the driveway and into our front yard! An obvious HUGE mess was made trying to get out...so much for 4-wheel drive. To give you an idea of how much snow we have, Taylor is standing next to the master bedroom window where the previous picture was taken....all in all, we got 27" of snow!

Our First Snowfall

Well winter has already arrived in Billings, MT! These are pictures from the master bedroom window...we have about a foot of snow and there's more to come until Monday morning when it's supposed to stop. It truly is a winter wonderland and very beautiful to see. Break out the shovel and rock salt!

Let it Snow!

This past Friday (October 10) it started snowing and I have been watching from the window ever since. I finally got outside today in my new snow gear and experienced first hand what snow really is! Although I've seen it before, I didn't get to enjoy it much last year because it was just too cold and I couldn't walk very well. Now I LOVE it! I had so much fun because I was bundled up nice and snuggly warm and I could walk and throw it and taste it and generally have lots of fun!

I Love the Snow!

It has been snowing a LOT over the last couple of days and I've been watching it fall through the window while exclaiming "SNOW!" at the top of my lungs. I've been wanting to get outside, but I couldn't until today because I didn't have any snow gear. My mommy FINALLY got me a snow suit at the second hand store and bought me some brand new boots and gloves to keep me warm. The only problem is that my boots are a size too big and they tend to fall off in the deep snow. Oh well, I had lots of fun anyway!

Lots of Balloons!

My daddy worked at a rodeo last weekend that was doing a fundraiser for breast cancer research and stuff. There were a ton of balloons left over, so the organizer gave my daddy a bunch to bring home to me. I LOVED this surprise because I love balloons, especially big bunches like this!

My New Soccerball

My daddy bought me a new soccerball for my birthday because I love to kick the ball! It matches perfectly with my new cast! I can't take this cast off even though I've tried so I guess I am making the best of it. I got to pick my own colour and I proudly announced that I wanted "Pink". My mommy didn't even know that I knew that word, so it was a surprise for her too! :o) I am FULL of surprises, just wait and watch.

Birthday Preparations

My mommy and daddy decided that since I love Winnie the Pooh that I would have a Pooh birthday party! How cool is that? These are pictures of my birthday table and balloons and cakes.

I'm 2!

I can't believe that I'm 2 and neither can my mommy and daddy! I had a really fun party with some friends, but we sure missed our extended families!

Eating My Birthday Cake

My mommy made some yummy cake for my birthday. I LOVE cake!

I Broke My Arm!

These are pictures of me after I broke my arm. I was minding my own business and having fun on the teeter totter with my friend when out of nowhere a little boy pushed me off. I bonked my head and fell with my arm outstretched to brace my fall. I got a displaced green-stick fracture so they splinted it right away. It was too swollen for a proper cast. I actually didn't mind it because I could take it off with no problem! My mommy got mad at me though, so I took to curling my tongue to pass the time! I'm getting pretty good at it...check it out on the picture below! I went to the orthopedic surgeon and he pulled my arm back in place (that hurt!) and a nice lady put a new cast on...one that I can't take off. Now that's a bummer!

My New Bedroom

Since I am a big girl now, I have a "big girl" bed! My mommy changed my room around a bit too so I can have some space to play with my toys. I am really lucky!

Painting

One of the things I love to do is paint...on paper, on the table and on me!

Cha-Cha-Cha

My cousins Shaylah and Samantha and I danced the night away doing the cha-cha-cha to my Auntie Carole's serenade. It was SOOOO much fun!
